Academy School District 20 Colorado Springs - Superintendent Monthly Update

Academy School District 20 Update by Dr. Hatchell, D20 Superintendent.

Dr. Hatchell provides a monthly video for all parents of Academy School District 20.

This month he discusses the award the district received at the Colorado Department of Education. For the second year in a row, Academy District 20 received a rating of Accredited with Distinction, the largest school district in Colorado to receive this award. Additionally two schools received the John Irwin School of Excellence Award, Air Academy High School and Pine Creek High School. The District 20 schools to receive the Governor's Distinguished Improvement Award were Academy International Elementary, Chinook Trail Elementary, and Mountain View Elementary.

Dr. Hatchell introduced the new school board and positions of each member and congratulated all the District 20 Fall Sports Athletes of the Year.

The Choice window for district 20 is January 6th to February 24th.
