Christmas is over but there's still plenty of holiday fun left in the Springs!

Holiday Festival and Winter Break with the Burros

WMMI is celebrating the holiday season with fun, crafts and hands-on learning opportunities for the whole family. Kids and parents alike can make holiday ornaments, New Year's Eve party favors, meet the museum's two burro mascots, see miniature trains and old fashioned toys, start a cookie mining company, go gold mining, watch steam engines roar to life and enjoy some stress free family time. Special events and information.

Snowflake Saturday
Colorado Springs Pioneers Museum

Celebrate winter and learn about the fascinating history of photographing snowflakes with a reading of Snowflake Bentley by Jacqueline Briggs Martin. There will be a fun snowflake craft, too! Appropriate for children of all ages! $1 suggested donation per child. Reservations and information.

Cheyenne Mountain Zoo is all lit up for the holidays. Electric Safari offers visitors the chance to tour the zoo under the stars, visit the animals at night and get an up-close visit from an amazing animal ambassador.
