Black Forest
The Colorado Springs real estate area of Black Forest is a large area in the northeast corner of Academy District 20. Black Forest spans from Old Ranch Road to the south, Baptist Road to the north, Highway 83 to Meridian Ranch Road.
Lots in Black Forest are typically large, ranging from 1/2 acre to many acres. Many areas within Black Forest of Colorado Springs real estate are zoned for horses and many homes are located in the dense "Black Forest" of tall Ponderosa Pines that are native to Colorado and flourish in this area. Even though the homes are rather spread out, Black Forest feels like a small community with the annual parade in August and craft fair in November.
