Every April USA Shooting hosts approximately 500 junior shooting athletes competing in three tournaments. These athletes are competing for National Championship status and the competitions serve to appoint individuals to USA Shooting's National Junior Teams, as well as various World Cup and Championship Teams throughout the year.

'Cosi fan tutte' by W. A. Mozart

Opera Theatre of the Rockies is pleased to announce a special collaboration with the Chamber Orchestra of the Springs to co-present Mozart’s rousing opera buffa, Così fan tutte on April 9 & 10, 2016 in Colorado Springs. The performance will be a staged concert version with costumes, props and supertitles.

Enjoy an enchanted evening where all little princesses, ages 2 – 18, get to be the belle of the ball as they dance the night away with their knight in shining armor during the YMCA’s annual Military Father Daughter Ball, Sat. Apr. 9, 5:30 – 9:30 p.m.
All little princesses can enjoy magical music, donning their prettiest party dress, a light plated dinner, carriage rides, a Princess Makeup Session, Father Daughter Pictures and twirling across the dance floor with Dad.
Doors open with Carriage Rides at 4 p.m. with a Princess Makeup Session and Father Daughter Pictures from 4 – 5:20 p.m.

Yuri's Night parties and events are held around the world every April in commemoration of April 12, 1961, the day of cosmonaut Yuri Gagarin's first manned spaceflight, and April 12, 1981, the inaugural launch of NASA's Space Shuttle.
